Death of Paris is currently in an Atlanta studio recording their 2nd album

Following a fundraising house party, car wash and successful Kickstarter campaign, Columbia’s Death of Paris has invited us all to be a fly on the fall while they work on production of their upcoming EP.  They’ve set up a Facebook group that you can follow where they are posting daily updates, photos and videos of their journey.  From their Facebook group:

Just as we did with the first record, we are again inviting friends and fans to come with us into the studio to watch the recording process unfold. This time, we are heading to Atlanta’s Vintage Song Studios to work with multi-platinum producers ZK Productions (Jimmy Eat World, All Time Low, Fergie, T.I.).

Over the course of the month, we will be engaging with fans via streaming video and social media sites like facebook, instagram, youtube and twitter, giving you guys a glance into what it takes to put together the record that many of you helped fund. This will be our main hub, giving those “attending” direct access to newly updated content every day or so.

This way, DOP fans from around the globe can keep up with the progress of the record as it happens.

They’ve released their first in a series of video updates chronicling the recording of this album.  If you’ve never been a part of the drama of a recording session, it’s going to be an eye opening experience for you to see how a rock and roll rekkid is actually made.

If you’re interested in checking out more info on Death of Paris or following along with their quest, make sure to like ’em on Facebook and check out their journey here.
